What is a PDF to Word converter?
A PDF is hard to edit. A Word file is easy to edit. This tool copies the words from your PDF into a Word file, so you can change them, add to them, or use them in another paper. It works inside your browser, so you can convert PDF to Word online without installing anything.

- Choose your PDF file, or drag it into the box.
- Press the "Convert to Word" button.
- Open the file you downloaded in Microsoft Word or LibreOffice.

Good to know
This tool takes only the words. It puts one line in each paragraph, and it starts a new page where the PDF had a new page. Pictures, tables and the exact look of the page are not kept. A scanned PDF is just a picture, so it has no words to take, and the Word file will be empty. The file is saved as .doc, and Word and LibreOffice can open it.
Is it private?
Yes. The work is done on your own device, so your file is not sent to our servers. Read our Privacy Policy to learn more.
